The following is my opinions about C-glass fiberglass products:

The C-glass fiberglass products are Chinese contributions to world. When learning technical technology from developed countries such as USA, Japan and Germany to produce out E-glass products, we develop series of C-glass products which in order to decrease cost and meantime to meet customer’s requirement. For purpose of environmental protection and save resources, I suggest C-glass fiberglass products should be expanded and usage. For example, when using chopped strand mat and woven roving to make common sanitations, kitchen wares or FRP products, we can adopt C-glass series. Also, FRP pultrusion rod in round, square or profiles can be used C-glass pultrusion roving to make out. Tents pole is a good example. South Korea and China are making use of C-glass fiberglass, like roving of 1200TEX，2400TEX and 4800TEX are being manufactured now. And the cost of C-glass is lower compared to E-glass but the quality、usage life will not be affected. However, when in the production of FRP merchandise with high insulation, I suggest it should choose E-glass, which R2O content of E-glass is under 0.8% and can assure property of product’s insulation. By contraries, R2O content of C-glass is 10% higher then will affect good insulation property in a certain extent.

In my opinion, choose correct fiberglass product in C-glass or E-glass will depends on what you need. If that, then your company will get more and more profits.
